Television’s biggest night was not without its fair share of Twilight representation. In fact, there was quite a few members of the Vampire community on hand, enough to have anyone grabbing at their necks.
Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev (Elena) sang in the huge Jimmy Fallon opening number (which I thought was awesome!) and True Bloods newlyweds Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer along with Alexander Skarsgård were all present to award Al Pacino the award for best actor in a miniseries.
On the Twilight side, Peter Facinelli showed up to support his show “Nurse Jackie”, who’s star Edie Falco won for best comic actress. Melissa Rosenberg was also in attendance as was Michael Sheen (Aro) in support of his miniseries “The Special Relationship”, which has Sheen once again (apparently for the third time) playing former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Peter Facinelli even Tweeted: ”Oops.Went to the bathroom and Edie Falco won an Emmy 4 Nurse Jackie. Missed the whole thing. #emmyfail. Congrats Edie. You deserve it!“
While there weren’t a lot of Twilight wins, it was still fun to see some huge stars mingling with the little people of Television. (:

Okay, so everyone looked absolutely drop dead last night. But which look was your favorite? Pick which Twilighter looked the most glamorous!

Twilight was a strong presence at this years Academy Awards with some of its biggest stars in attendance.
Not only was Anna Kendrick nominated for Best Supporting Actress (the award went to Mo’Nique-sorry Anna, we still love ‘ya) but Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart arrived together, looking beautiful, of course.
Also present was Michael Sheen (Aro) who gave a testimonial to his “The Queen” co-star Hellen Mirren for her nomination for best actress.
New Moon composer Alexandre Desplat was also nominated for his work in “The Fantastic Mr. Foxx”.
There were many shots of Kristen & Taylor sitting together in the audience and co-hosts Steve Martin & Alec Baldwin warned Taylor and Zac Effron to “take a good look at where you’ll be in the next five years!” as they pointed towards themselves.
All in all, it was a glamorous, good time had by all. And a chance for Twilight fans to cheer for some of their favorites. Till next year.
